In Practice w/ FAR Night School: On Intersectionality

FAR Night School’s spring term 2020 will continue with the “In Practice” series, in collaboration with Museum of Impossible Forms.

In the upcoming sessions, we tackle terms often used in relation to feminism and anti-racism. The first one will be "Intersectionality", which we will discuss on the 30th of January 2020.

Radikaalit Ristipistot työpajat / Radical Cross-stitch workshops

Wednesday 29 January 2020, 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Radical cross-stitch is part of the craftivist movement, showing that feminist activism can take many forms, including craft. The workshops want to bring forth cross-stitch as an art form, show its versatility, as well as its ability to be political and radical. The gatherings follow the form of feminist sewing circles, being also a place for relaxed socializing and discussion.

Father Frost Against 2020 - festival

Father Frost Against is a cultural and political festival, focused on critical thinking, reflection and development of new activism strategies. Held in Helsinki, Finland from the 3rd to the 5th of January and organized by local activists, as well as participants from Russia and the post-Soviet space.
