Houria Bouteldja is a French-Algerian political activist and writer focusing on anti-racism, anti-imperialism, and Islamophobia. She serves as spokesperson for the Parti des Indigènes de la République (Party of the Indigenous of the Republic). She has critically engaged with the issues of Eurocentrism, globalization, European myths of innocence, white feminism and the failures of the white left, in order to outline the parameters of and the necessity of the decolonial struggle.

Houria Bouteldja will read excerpts of her most recent book Whites, Jews and Us – Toward a Politics of Revolutionary Love (Semiotext, 2017). She will also engage in conversation with the audience in a Q&A session.
