Welcome to three weekends of textile experiments with materials, colours and textures in the Weaving Kiosk at Museum of impossible Forms in Kontula.
The Kiosk is open Sat-Sun from 11am to 6pm. Dates are:
Feb 17 and 18
Feb 24 and 25
Mar 3 and 4
Drop-by during opening hours or secure a place by reserving a spot by sending a message to Weaving Kiosk facebook page!
The Weaving Kiosk is a space where weaving tools and materials are made available for anyone to use. Everyone is invited to weave their own textile patterns that can then be utilized in readily designed product proposals. Using the tools and materials provided, the weave you make will be implemented in a product that is based on Nordic weaving techniques by textile designer Rosa Tolnov Clausen and fashion designer Merja Hannele Ulvinen. The product of your labor is, of course, yours to take home!
Previous Kiosks have taken place in Stockholm, Copenhagen, Helsinki and Espoo. Welcome in Kontula!
