Reading and talk with editors of No play and Karolina Kucia and Minna Henriksson

The No play Feminist Training Camp took place in May and June 2016 at the nGbk in Berlin. The publication is an outcome of a collective process of editing and writing done by the working group; Annika Högner, Clara López Menéndez, Elis Hannikainen, Enna Gerin, Freja Bäckman, Vappu Jalonen, together with Bogg Johanna Karlsson through transcribing audio recordings, remembering, negotiating and storytelling. It is an assembly of materials from the No play Feminist Training Camp.

The radical right wing or what we consider neo-fascists are being legitimized in parliaments all over Europe, immigration has been made the scapegoat of the financial economic crisis, and fear and
‘security’, as understood by conservatives, seem to be the main political engines dictating the discourse. The alarming developments in the political landscape and the speed of those increased the urgency of working out what our feminist practices can do.

Freja Bäckman and Vappu Jalonen from the No play working group (nGbK, 2016) will present the publication and talk about the No play Feminist Training Camp together with Karolina Kucia and Minna Henriksson who took part in Foreplay (the closed four day workshop) and the public training program.

glut/glut/glut by Karolina Kucia was a series of stupid boxes as a place for knowledge production. They came from the cellar under the floor and were meant as para-site for collectivity. glut/glut/glut was for use. Within Foreplay Minna Henriksson collaborated with Enna Gerin in mapping out the ways to resist the emergent neofascism in Europe. Know Your Enemy became a diagram in the space.

After the talk there is a possibility to listen to the No play Radio Fiction (duration 59 minutes), first broadcasted on reboot.fm June 2016.
